TheCharityBall.Org is an organisation created to raise money by holding fund raising events culminating in a charity Ball at the end of each year.
TheCharityBall.Org organisation will support different charities each year but will inevitably have roots in raising money for Cancer research as this was the reason the organisation was formed in the initial stages under The Fun Raising Floosies.
This year the first event under TheCharityBall.Org will see us trying to raise +£2,000 at The Stratford Manor on October 7th via a large Charity Ball event of 250 people! We have decided to spice up the colour of the event by introducing ‘themed tables’ for the guests to create a bit of razzamatazz. So far we have a Cancer Research Pink table, a Camouflage Green and Red Para’s table, a Golfers table, a Salon table, a High-grade Famous Designers table, a Land of Dragor Dragon table and many more!
The evening will raise money for two charities the Cancer Research charity because that is where it all started with the brave Lynda Loomes successfully beating the dreaded illness and Help for Heroes because we lost yet another brave young soldier Conrad Lewis who as a local lad was known to many of us. There will be many personal reasons for coming to the Ball and we will ask people to share them on this website under the Your Story section.
It is too early to say how big the organisation will grow that depends on the interest from you and the generous donations from our sponsors and friends.
The organisation will be run by volunteers. I would like to thank everyone that has bought a ticket for the October 7th Ball, donated a prize or service for auction or made a cash donation where they are unable to attend.
