The Ball is over for another year but it seems like people will be telling ‘Ball stories’ for the next 12 months! We broke the record for fund raising and smashed the record for fun! So many beautiful memories it is hard to single any one out.

I recall the fun of Hatton & Harding dancing on the table, the spectacular Themed Tables from Masquerade to Pick n Mix, the silence when Tony Lewis and Sally Bee told their poignant stories, the cheer when Tarik age 16 won the LIVE bid and Jacquie and I trying to clear the dance floor when the guests decided they wanted to dance half way through the speeches J I will never forget Lela age 9 turn up in her ‘pretty in pink’ ball gown, people drinking vodka from the ice sculpture by Dave Brown at Beckworth Emporium. I will never forget selling a Cheese Dish for £350 in the Live Auction or the vision of beauty on screen that was Mel Spooner, as she reminded us just why we are raising money. How do you pick highlights when you had so much happening.

After all this and the party was over the result was those that chose to be part of the Charity Ball.Org fundraiser were there to witness us generate £25k to 353... and Sw-Heart and that is why we do it.

Thank you all.
